Organization Description
ARK is a local non-profit with five programmes but one purpose, dedicated to the preservation and sustainability of marine resources in the British Virgin Islands. Programmes include (1) Coral Restoration & Rescue; (2) Sea Turtle Population Monitoring & Conservation; (3) ARK Expeditions, using virtual reality to bring natural environments into classrooms; (4) Ridge-to-Reef, bringing communities together to reduce impacts affecting nearshore coastal waters and (5) Sustainable Yachting to educate and help resolve space-use conflict.
